Second day in England

This morning we woke up at 7:30 am; then we went to Kaffeccino´s for breakfast and we got our packed lunch. At the Hostel, we had a meeting with the manager and he explained the rules of the Hostel. We went to a museum, the Discovery Museum, and there some of us bought some presents at the shop. Later, we went to a very funny park and all the boys and girls rented some boats. Then we had to pick up the rubbish. Furthermore, we visited the  Baltic Museum, and it was very interesting. We walked and walked, and we were very tired. Then, we came back to the Hostel and about 6 pm, we had dinner. The teachers gave us our mobile phones and we phoned our parents. Then we took a shower, and wrote our journals.  That's all, I hope we will enjoy tomorrow as we did today.

Luego tuvimos que recoger la basura . Además visitamos el museo del Mar Báltico y fue muy interesante.Caminamos y caminamos, estabamos muy cansados. Luego volvimos al albergue, alrededor de las 6pm. Fuimos a cenar. Los profesores nos dieron los teléfonos móviles, y llamamos por teléfono a nuestros padres. Luego nos dimos una ducha, y preparamos nuestros diarios. Eso es todo, espero que podamos disfrutar de mañana como lo hemos hecho hoy.

I liked the assembly today. I liked when Laura read the powerpoint presentation so fast. I liked painting frames with the Turkish and English students.

News from Ocejón School!
All of our students are currently completing surveys about their fruit eating habits. These surveys ask students their age, their favourite fruit and things like when they eat fruit. The surveys come from The School Plan for Fruit Consumption in Castilla-La Mancha. We have started to eat only fruit every Thursday and have noticed that we have much less garbage on these days. Now Castilla-La Mancha is going to provide our school with fruit every Friday as well.

Last week, our Head Teacher, Carmen Bueno, and our project coordinator, Christine Stoody, attended an event in Toledo for schools participating in Comenius projects in Castilla- La Mancha. They received a Comenius plaque on behalf of Colegio Público Ocejón that recognizes the schools participation in Comenius. Castilla-La Mancha is giving a plaque to each school that participates so that they are identified when a visitor comes to the school.
